The Secretary of State to the Minister of Foreign Affairs in charge of the National Community Abroad, Sofiane Chaib, met with members of the Algerian community residing in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
He shared an Iftar with them, organized in their honor, during his working visit to Jeddah to participate in the Extraordinary Meeting of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the member states of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).
The members of the community attending the Iftar welcomed this commendable initiative, which reflects the tradition of listening and consultation established by the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, and demonstrates the consistent importance he places on the national community abroad.
The event, held in a fraternal and convivial atmosphere, provided an opportunity to assess the situation of the community and address their concerns and aspirations. On this occasion, the Secretary of State emphasized the particular importance that the country’s highest authorities attach to our community abroad, as part of a renewed strategy focused on promoting their participation, listening to their needs, and effectively responding to their aspirations.
